Winter gave us a cold day with some wind and the slightest hint of a shower. 50 teams braved the conditions to sample Johann Wagner's course.
Christopher Bradley continued his winning form teaming with Guyver Fu to win with 1400 points with Keira and Tom Banks second on 1160 closely followed by Julie Quinn and David Baldwin on 1150.
Thanks to all the volunteers who set and vetted the course and ran the event on the day, and to Hartley Lifecare for the yummy hot food at the finish.

We hope everyone who got out onto the virtualgaine course had a good time. The weather was a bit of a mixed bag but the last weekend finally provided some respite to allow a final flurry of competitors to get out. Many thanks to Jon Glanville for setting the course and Carol Harding for vetting.
Congratations to our overall winner Christopher Bradley after numerous attempts seesawing on the podium with Tim Cochrane. Kelvin Peh rounded out the top three. Christopher cleared the course running 41.5 km in 3:30 hrs - an impressive run.
The results are on the event page. The winners here are only those who formally entered through the website - there were others who walked or ran around the course who are not featured in the results. The course will remain open to anyone who wants to do it, but you will need to print your own map from the web page.
The 2021 Twilight in the Trees 3 hour rogaine finally happened! A perfect afternoon with thunderstorms bypassing well away. Overall winners, clearing the course with 25 minutes to spare were Thomas Banks and Brad Vallette on 2030 points. Susie Sprague and Kathie Dent won the women's with 1880 and David Osmond and Melissa Clarke won the mixed on 1760. A big thanks to our remote event coordinator Benita Sommerville, in-town coordinator Julie Quinn, setters Jeannie Douglass and Ron Simpson and on the day helpers.
