We recommend that you arrive at least an hour prior to the start of the eve

m must mark their intended route on the flight plan and hand it in before s
tarting.

Map and Course Details<
/span>

There will be one A4 map (210x297mm), 1:25,000 with 10 m conto
ur interval. Magnetic north lines are marked on the map. Out of bounds area
s are marked in grey and pink shading. It contains mainly native bush with
small areas of cleared land. The course setters notes and control descripti
ons have been printed on the back. The altitude ranges from approximately 6
00 to 850 m.

Pink areas have been marked separately to the grey
areas as they contain a number of rare plants that have regenerated with a
ll the recent rain. You must not go off track in these areas; however, if a
marked track goes through the pink areas, you are allowed to pass through
along the track.

The map is printed on Teslin paper which is ve
ry tough and generally does not need to be covered in contact.

Due to large rainfall, there is a lot of long grass on course so gaiters an
d/or long pants are highly recommended.

Water

Please bring enough water for H
ash House use and for at least 3 hours on course. There are no wa
ter drops on course; however there is a water fountain at the top of Ainsli
e. We do not recommend drinking any water found on course without sterilisa
tion.

Other Information</
